Guest Speakers

 

Through out the year, we will have 4 guest speakers speaking to us regarding many different topics regarding science. They will be spread out evenly through the year and will be scheduled during late start on Wednesdays.

 

We require all students to attend at least 1 guest speaker meeting per semester. If a student attends the other meeting during the semester, they will be able to gain 1 hour of community service. Therefore, if students attend both Guest Speaker meetings, they will gain 60 minutes of community service hours, but going to one meeting per semester doesn't count for hours. 

 

We will update everyone regarding the next speaker date on the website as well as email/text messages.

 

The two guest speakers for first semester will be:

• A electrical/computer engineering grad student

• A biological engineer/chemist grad student

The two guest speakers for second semester are yet to be determined.
